Laura's 14th Birthday!!

Friday the 20th was my Birthday, and I thought that it was only going to be my family, but I was wrong. My mom surprised me! She had arranged for the Hailstones, and the Barbens to come. I had no idea that they were coming till Dad said that there was a big white van coming up our drive way. I couldn't believe it!!! Mom and the rest of the family had said nothing about some freinds coming. I was so, So, SO HAPPY that they had come!!!! For my Birthday cake I had asked for a Chocolote and strawberry ice cream cake! And it was the best cake that mom had ever made!!!

I was so happy to have friends over!!!

Maddie gave me a, keep sake bock that I could decorate!

These are my friends: Kaycia Barben (in the pink), Jane Hailstone (in the blue), and Mary Hailstone (on my left). We are the best of friends!!!! We had a sleep over at the cabins, and we stayed up till 3:30am, and then we went sleding all the next morning! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! But we were exhausted when we were done!

Bowling with cousins

After we went to the movies we went bowling. From our family, mom, dad and I were the only ones who had ever gone, and it had been a really long time since we had. So this was a big hit, and I mean a BIG HIT!!!! Caleb thought this was the funnest thing that he has ever done!

All of the cousins are excited to be there, and to be together!!!

Will still didn't know what to think about it, because all you really do is get a heavy ball and then push it down and try to hit the pins down!!

Christmas at MI, with Grandma and Grandpa Simmerman

Christmas at Grandmas was a lot of fun!!!! The weather was nuts! it was raining, and then snowing. The Tennesse Simmermans were there (Uncle Davids kids), it was nice to see them again. Much to the sadness of the Grandkids we had to wait till the Grown-ups had eaten breaktfast, and cleand up (and they took forever!!!), till we could open presents.

Opening the stockings, and mom is still waking up. Will is opening his stocking.

Alison and Kyle are opening their stockings.

Alison and Adam. Adam is 13 years old, and so cool.

This is the girl table, with Maddie (in the blue), and Kelsy (in the red), Zoe (in the white), and then me (Laura). All three of the little girls are age 6, and so cute!!

Fun at the River

Our cousins, (Steven and Annie) came to visit Mammoth Valley Ranch for a whole week! We had so much fun with them. Steven is 14, and Annie is 8. Here are some of the pics that we took while they were here.
Alison and Annie at the river.
Will and Carolyne were having fun wading.
Caleb and Steven. Steven is teaching Caleb how to shoot a gun. They had just seen a water snake and were out to get it!
I'm having fun wading.
Mom saved Caleb from the river; it seemed to him that there was absolutely no way for him to get across.

Fun in Park City

For the Fourth of July we went to Park City, and stayed at a Five Star Hotel. For activities we went to the Alpine Slide, and we loved it!! We could have done it all day, and wouldn't have gotten tired!!! After that we went Shopping on Main streat, but we didn't buy any thing. And went swimming every day, (my hair almost turned green!!) Here are some of the pics that we took. Alison on the Alpine Slide.

There were a lot of Mooses in Park City, and they were all different.
Aunt Sue, Steven and Annie came to spend the day with us at the Hotel.
This was so much fun to ride on. Madeline and Caleb having fun in the Pool.
